BACKGROUND
Tower Hamlet’s Summer Uni provided 11-25 year olds with free courses and activities to help them develop the skills and self-belief they need to get on in life. Their programmes have been proven to raise aspirations, reduce juvenile crime, break down racial tensions and get unemployed youth into work. The plan was to extend the charity’s activities to other boroughs.

STRATEGY
WMH positioned Futureversity as the place ‘Where things can happen’.

SOLUTION
Simple and powerful, the campaign took to the streets, turning everyday items from bins to lampposts into stereos and basketball hoops. Each imaginative execution was aimed at encouraging local kids to try music, sport and a range of other great summer courses.
