On Thursday, we at Williams Murray Hamm, held a very special client evening. We invited half a dozen of the people who have supported the business, over the years, to dinner. Our guest speaker was Chris Marshall, James Hunt’s original manager.

Chris is the most self effacing, charming man you’ll ever meet. He was full of stories about how they got James into F1 and what an extraordinarily determined young man he was.

It was quite clear that Chris absolutely loved James and his tales of meeting James’s parents, dealing with Lord Hesketh, Max Mosley and Bernie Ecclestone were the stuff of legends. Brilliant stories, beautifully told.
